You may be familiar with March of Dimes work to end prematurity, raising awareness, conducting research, and providing education, and this is of course one of the reasons I walk. But my passion truly lies in the work I do with March of Dimes to improve the maternity care system in this country. Did you know that the U.S. has the worst maternal death rate in the developed world? To me that is just unacceptable. Is it acceptable to you? I work each day with amazing partners to turn the curve, to see the death rates go down and the positive outcomes go up. I want healthy babies, but I also want healthy and strong moms! Help me realize this dream!
